Our Christmas Card

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas! Here’s our card from this year. It’s the first time we’ve sent out something besides a regular generic card. We had it printed on the front and back as a flat 5×7 card. Of course I left the copyright watermark off of it. :) Photos were taken by Jamie Burnett - thanks again Jamie! I can’t wait to come up with ideas for next year!

**We will be closed December 31st-January 4th for the new year and I have a wedding on January 3rd. Have a safe & Happy New Year!

Holiday Madness

First, I apologize for the lack of posting over the holidays. I have been running around like a mad woman visiting with family and friends, shopping for last minute gifts, and shooting bridals and weddings over the past two weeks. And it’s not over yet! I will have lots to show you all very soon.

{Cara Bridal} ~ Cara’s beautiful session took place at the Martha Washington Inn in Abingdon, VA last week.

{Cassie & Lee Wedding} ~ What an amazing wedding! I traveled to Natchitoches, LA this past weekend to photograph the ceremony of this beautiful couple. They’re having fun in Jamaica as we speak!

{Cara & Tim Wedding} ~ I will be shooting their wedding this Saturday in Blacksburg, VA (Go Hokies!) and I cannot wait!

{Alexandra and Thomas Wedding} ~ I second shot this wedding with Jessica a few weeks ago and have been so busy with my work that I’ve not had time to reveal this beautiful day to you!

{Stephanie & Kaleb Wedding} ~ Another gorgeous wedding I shot with Jessica a few weeks ago!

I hope that you all have a safe and Happy New Year! I’m already thinking of resolutions for 2009. :)

Merry Christmas!

We will be closed for Christmas eve tomorrow and on Christmas day. I hope that you all eat lots of food, enjoy time with your family and friends, and watch A Christmas Story too many times to count!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Ashley & Jason: Engaged

Upon meeting with Ashley and Jason I found out that they are both University of Georgia alumni and are proud of it! They decided to have their engagement session on campus and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I had never been to Athens and wanted to see what the fuss was all about from the UGA fans here in Columbus. Because c’mon…it seriously couldn’t be better than Virginia Tech’s campus right!? :) We had a great time exploring and found some beautiful locations. We even included their adorable daughter Addison in a few of the shots! Ashley and Jason thank you for showing me around Athens and I cannot wait for your March wedding!

We’ll start with the infamous arch. This was a must have shot for Ashley and Jason. The legend is that if you walk under the arch as an undergraduate you will never graduate from UGA. Therefore you can only go through it once you have your diploma!

I love, love, love the sunflare in this one!

Another must have shot on one of the many bulldogs around town.

I love these last few!

Cans for Comments - Final Total

My blog readers are awesome! You guys left 72 comments on my blog which means 72 canned goods will be donated to my local food bank! I decided to split the cans between Columbus, Georgia’s Second Harvest Food Bank and and the Southwestern Virginia Second Harvest Food Bank (near my hometown of Wise, VA). So that means each food bank will receive 36 cans from Lisette Price Photography! Thank you all for commenting and I hope this inspires you to help someone in need, not just doing the Christmas season, but always. And I will be posting pictures up of the shopping/donating later! :)

Happy Birthday Dad & Aaron!!!

Today is my Dad’s 50th birthday and my brother Aaron’s 24th birthday! I don’t know what I would do without these two in my life. My Dad is an amazing man who has worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. He constantly pushes me to succeed and gives the best advice, whether I want to hear it or not! :) My brother is one of a kind. We’re only a year apart so we grew up really close to each other. All of my childhood memories involve us teaming up against whoever for whatever reason, or fighting with each other over trivial things. haha So happy, happy, happy birthday Dad and Aaron!! I wish you both MANY more and I love you both! :)
